Bailey lab welcomes ScM student Brynn Durecki!

First-year Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ScM student Brynn Durecki has joined the Bailey lab!

Brynn is interested in the ways that bacteria protect themselves from various threats, including the CRISPR adaptive immune systems. Here in the Bailey lab she will use cryo-EM to study the Thermatoga maritima Type III-B CRISPR complex.
